Bouclé, cared for
2 de junio de 2026
Looped and tactile, bouclé stays like new for years with the right care — and pulls apart with the wrong kind.
Bouclé scatters light softly and feels warm to the touch thanks to its looped structure. That same structure is its most fragile point under the wrong cleaning.
Weekly
Vacuum on low power with no brush head. Bristles pull the loops and, over time, fuzz the surface.
When something spills
Do not rub — press and absorb. A white, lint-free cloth and warm water handle most marks. Test any chemical stain remover on a hidden area first.
Washing
- Unzip and remove the cover completely.
- 30 °C, delicate cycle, low spin.
- No bleach, no fabric softener.
- Never tumble dry; dry flat in the shade.
- Refit while slightly damp — the creases fall out on their own.
If a loop pulls
Do not tug it. Trim it flush with small scissors. Pulling can unravel the whole row.
