Private label mattress cover production: 7 steps from enquiry to shipment
13 octobre 2026
Enquiry, quote, sample, approval, production, vacuum packing and shipment: what to expect at each step, and how long it takes.
How does the process work from start to finish when you want mattress covers made under your own brand? These are the seven steps we follow at Özgen Tekstil, with the time each one takes:
1. Enquiry and technical discussion — reply within 1 business day
You share the model, size, fabric and quantity. We can also work from your own technical drawing.
2. Price quotation — 2–3 business days
Unit price and lead time are calculated from quantity, size and delivery terms. A container-based loading plan is included.
3. Sample production — 5–10 business days
A sample is made and sent to you before approval. We do not move to mass production until you have seen the fabric, stitching and size in person.
4. Sample approval and order
Once the sample is approved the order is confirmed and scheduled. For private label, label and packaging design is settled at this stage.
5. Mass production — per production schedule
Cutting, sewing, filling and assembly are done in our own facility. Every batch is checked for seam strength, size tolerance and surface defects before shipment.
6. Vacuum press and packing — 2–3 business days
Products are vacuum-packed and palletised. More units fit in each container and freight per unit falls.
7. Shipment — as agreed
EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP: shipped according to the agreed delivery terms. Loading photos and documents are shared.

7 questions to ask when choosing a removable mattress cover supplier
Manufacturer or middleman, how are samples approved, how is quality checked? Seven questions to settle before you commit to a supplier.
Why vacuum packing changed furniture logistics
Most of what a sofa ships is air. Removing that air lowers both freight cost and carbon footprint.
